Waiting for happy beach days!
Well who isn’t?
But more importantly this piece is about joy, fun and integration. Living so close to the sea is an absolute treat. In the summers we brave the freezing temperatures (I am from Bombay where the water is like a sauna) we sun bathe and enjoy games on the beach and occasionally have BBQs. I wanted to post this piece on World Anti- Racism day as learning from each other, integrating different cultures and practices that make you enjoy life more will always be something that will make us have a better life. Moving to Dublin and enjoy simple things and experiencing different food and culture from our multi cultural friend network has only made our life better and richer.
Racism will always be a threat to our freedom, joy and growth so why continue?
Instead enjoy happy beach days- full of the sun, sand and sea. Carry a picnic and dance to some crazy beats while also maybe trying a lovely BBQ and boozy cocktails!
This piece is currently upstretched and can be stretched if you like.
