This painting is a personal reflection on Ireland’s evolving identity, seen through my experiences as an artist and migrant. ✈️
It weaves together moments that shaped my connection to this place—watching a man surf in the wild Irish waters, celebrating my first Pride parade and admiring the architectural beauty of Dublin. And ofcourse I see everything through a more colourful lense, my mind automatically erases the grey and the clouds
These fragments of movement, joy, and belonging mirror Ireland’s transformation, where tradition and modernity, past and present, exist in harmony. Through an abstract yet deeply personal lense, this piece captures how a country in flux can become home to so many, even though that word has become so contentious.
