Born from the darker days of late autumn — when Halloween lingers in memory and the season tips toward winter — this work carries both mystery and quiet wonder. Painted during a time of shorter light and longer reflection, it introduces the fish motif that appears in several pieces of the Dear Pandora series. I felt drawn to the fish without fully knowing why, intrigued by its symbolism and presence.
Here, the fish becomes a guide into curiosity, intuition, and the simple magic found in nature. The female figure is surrounded by earthy, moody tones, the piece sits between darkness and delight — a reminder that even as seasons shift and shadows lengthen, there is beauty in what swims beneath the surface, waiting to be discovered.
