This piece has so many hidden meanings and so much of story telling. The sun that illuminates the darkness or shines a light on truth. The land that provides medicine and bringing back respect to indigenous knowledge. Of course the support for Palestinians and I was very motivated to paint a donkey this was the 1st time. It felt like a representation of all the mythology and history I have been immersing myself in.
