This work bridges two worlds — freedom imagined and freedom felt. A bird, poured in diluted acrylics, takes flight in the foreground, its form born from fluid colour and chance. In contrast, a girl rests in the lower right corner, eyes closed, painted in my familiar technique. Their quiet connection invites a pause between inner stillness and outward movement — a moment where letting go meets intention. Bold, bright shades carry the energy of release, while soft abstraction holds space for dreaming. This piece explores the courage to trust both surrender and control — to believe that freedom lives in the balance between the two.
