The dreams you enjoy, on holidays in a hot, sweaty place. Where all the colours are more vibrant and there is music in the air. Where you jump into the water to cool off and dry under the shade of gigantic, big palm leaves. When you go back to capture that memory, it is only a blur of hot tropical colours and a warm breeze. But you try hard to remember the details, and all you can remember is being carefree and devouring cold juicy fruits for lunch or in your cocktails. Oh, now I remember this is what I felt like in Brazil last year! That country has my heart. I wanted to capture that feeling and that intensity and lack of definition and heavy texture (emotions of a memory) in this piece. I really feel I have captured warm tropical vibes.
