This print was initially designed a moving image version of this print for a beautiful open call about how we are connected to the stars and there were 23 other artist involved in designing other work based on different prompts.
In this piece, I return to the female form, inspired by the idea that as women, we’ve forgotten to look up, to frolic, to dance. But when we reconnect with the earth beneath us, we rediscover the interconnectedness of life. I believe we’re all made of stardust, our bodies alive with maps and constellations guiding us home. As starseeds, we came to experience the earth, not to use her. This artwork embodies that belief.
Someone asked me for a t-shirt with this print and I thought it would be a perfect way to open up my clothing merch again for this year.
